Lucknow: The 61st Annual General Meeting of Uttar Pradesh Roller Flour Millers Association was organized at Taj Hotel, Lucknow, in which Finance Minister of Uttar Pradesh Government Suresh Khanna was present as the Chief Guest and Chief Secretary Manoj Kumar Singh as the Special Guest. More than 200 Roller Flour Mill entrepreneurs from all over Uttar Pradesh participated in the meeting.
In the meeting, Chief Guest Finance Minister Suresh Khanna said that the state government is working for the development of entrepreneurs and continuous improvement of the industry under the leadership of our illustrious Chief Minister Honorable Yogi Adityanath, the result of which we are now seeing clearly on the ground. Today, new industrial units are being established in our Uttar Pradesh, due to which not only our Uttar Pradesh is moving rapidly on the path of development. But farmers are also getting a fair price for their produce, as well as many new employment opportunities are also being created. The day is not far when our Uttar Pradesh will become the first state in the country with a trillion dollar economy.
Special guest Principal Secretary Manoj Singh said that today the intention of the government is to develop a good industrial environment by removing all the obstacles in the successful operation of the industries established in the state and setting up new industries, so that not only the entrepreneurs of Uttar Pradesh but also the entrepreneurs of other states are excited to set up their industrial units. In today’s era, the importance of state-of-the-art technology has increased in any industry and the demand for trained workers is increasing day by day. To meet these needs, our Uttar Pradesh government has decided to give 5 acres of land to Uttar Pradesh Roller Flour Millers Association in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, in which the country’s second and North India’s first Central Milling Technology Institute will be established by the institute, where an institute with world-class equipment will be established to prepare advanced products using state-of-the-art technology, from which such trained workers will be prepared who will be in demand not only in India but also in European countries as well as Middle East countries.
This institute will prove to be a milestone in the milling industry in the coming times. The organization’s president Dharmendra Jain and vice president Deepak Bajaj welcomed and greeted all the entrepreneurs from the entire state including the honorable Finance Minister Suresh Khanna and the special guest Chief Secretary Manoj Singh who attended the annual general meeting as the chief guest and said in their address that I thank the successful Chief Minister of our state, Honorable Yogi Adityanath, on behalf of all the entrepreneurs of the state, under whose able leadership all the entrepreneurs of the state are not only contributing to the development of the state by operating their industries freely in a fear-free environment, but are also providing jobs to many workers by creating new employment opportunities.
The roller floor milling industry is such an industry directly connected to farmers and common consumers, which provides support to our food-providing farmers by increasing their income by giving them the best price for their produce, and also sells the food items of daily consumption of the common consumer, flour, maida, semolina, in the market with minimum profit in public interest. Today our Uttar Pradesh ranks first in the country in wheat production. Now we need to bring revolution in the wheat processing industries by reviving the roller flour mills and produce high quality flour, semolina, so that our state can become number one in the whole of India not only in wheat production but also in wheat based processed industries.
