New Delhi: Union Minister of State for External Affairs Kirti Vardhan Singh visited Max Super Speciality Hospital and All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) to meet those injured in the tragic fire incident in Malviya Nagar, including several foreign nationals receiving treatment.
During his visit, the Minister interacted with the injured victims and reviewed the medical care being provided at the hospitals. He expressed his prayers for the speedy recovery of all those undergoing treatment and conveyed heartfelt condolences to the families who lost their loved ones in the devastating incident.
Speaking to the media, Singh said the Ministry of External Affairs is maintaining close coordination with the concerned embassies and is extending all possible assistance to affected foreign nationals. He noted that citizens from Bangladesh, Nepal, several African nations and India were among those admitted to Max Super Speciality Hospital.
The Minister praised the dedication of doctors, nurses and hospital staff, stating that their timely response and professional medical care helped save many lives and ensured effective treatment for the injured.
He also commended the courage of police personnel who risked their own lives to rescue people trapped inside the burning building. Singh affirmed that the government remains committed to ensuring proper care, support and rehabilitation for all those affected by the tragedy.

The Minister expressed gratitude to local MLA Satish Upadhyay and BJP workers for their prompt assistance during the rescue and relief operations, noting that their efforts played an important role in reaching victims quickly and facilitating emergency response measures.
The government has announced financial assistance from the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund (PMNRF) for the victims of the fire. The next of kin of each deceased victim will receive an ex gratia payment of ₹2 lakh, while those injured in the incident will be provided financial assistance of ₹50,000.
The Malviya Nagar fire has drawn widespread concern, with authorities continuing efforts to support victims, coordinate with diplomatic missions and ensure comprehensive medical care for those affected.
