Rampur: A grand literary gathering organized by the Rampur chapter of Surabhi Cultural Group, Lucknow, was held at Anand Convent School, Jwala Nagar, to commemorate the second death anniversary of renowned lyricist Virendra Saral. The event featured a poetry symposium, the launch of the poetry anthology Anand Chhand Mala – Part 2, and the felicitation of 23 literary figures from various districts and states for their outstanding contributions to Hindi literature.
The program began with a heartfelt tribute to the late Virendra Saral, as poets and literary enthusiasts reminisced about his immense contributions to the world of literature. The attendees described him as a devoted literary personality whose works continue to inspire generations. The event commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp before an image of Goddess Saraswati by President Jitendra Kamal Anand and Secretary Anmol Ragini.
