Lucknow: Lucknow University’s ten-day Inter-Hostel Competition Fest 2025 witnessed an action-packed eighth day on February 27, 2025, with sporting events, debate contests, and a poster-making competition taking center stage at the university’s main campus.
The day’s events commenced with the final cricket match at Paranjpe Ground, where Mahmudabad Hall triumphed over Lal Bahadur Shastri Hall to claim victory. Following this, the volleyball final was held at Shivaji Ground, where Mahmudabad Hall once again emerged victorious, defeating Kautilya Hostel.
In the poster-making competition for female hostels, Chandrashekhar Azad Hostel secured the first position, Golden Jubilee Hostel finished second, and Lavanya Hostel claimed the third spot.
Similarly, the debate competition showcased fierce intellectual battles, with Nivedita Hostel winning first place, Nivedita and Kailash Hostels jointly securing the second position, and Chandrashekhar Azad Hostel finishing third.
The grand closing ceremony of the fest is scheduled for February 28, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Malviya Hall. The event will be graced by Honorable Prof. Dinesh Sharma, Member of the Rajya Sabha, as the Chief Guest.
