Sampoorna Samadhan Diwas in Tehsil Gonda Sadar: DIG and CDO Hear Out Complainants
CDO orders full, timely and quality resolution of every complaint received on Samadhan Diwas
174 complaints filed at Gonda Sadar; 5 resolved on the spot
GONDA: In line with government policy of resolving public grievances at a single venue, Sampoorna Samadhan Diwas was held across all tehsils of the district today. At Tehsil Gonda Sadar, Devipatan Range DIG Ashok Shukla and Chief Development Officer Dayanand Prasad sat and heard out complainants directly, before forwarding the grievances to the relevant departmental officers for quick, timely and quality resolution.
Over the course of the hearing, Gonda Sadar received a total of 174 applications, of which 5 were resolved right there on the spot. Officials were instructed to ensure the remaining 169 cases are resolved with full quality within the stipulated timeframe, with reports to be submitted to the tehsil on schedule.
The CDO directed officials to form dedicated teams to handle complaints received on Samadhan Diwas, and to make sure that whenever a team goes out for an on-site inspection, both sides in a dispute are called in, heard out, and the matter resolved properly and thoroughly.
On cases involving illegal encroachment and disputed pathways (chakmarg), he said joint teams of revenue and police personnel should be sent to the spot to settle matters directly. He also directed that measurement of pond land, illegal occupation, chak roads, drains, and other encroachment cases be cleared using joint revenue-police teams, with complainants called to the site, their presence noted in writing, and the entire resolution process documented through photographs and videography.
He was blunt about the standard expected: complaints received on Samadhan Diwas need to be resolved on-site and with full quality — and any department that falls short, he warned, will face strict action against the officer concerned.
Wrapping up the event, the Chief Development Officer instructed all district-level officers present to ensure that complaints received during Sampoorna Samadhan Diwas are resolved in a timely and high-quality manner.
Also present on the occasion were Divisional Forest Officer Anurag Priyadarshi, Chief Medical Officer Dr. Santlal, Sub-Divisional Magistrate (Sadar) Gonda Jitendra Gautam, Tehsildar Sadar Gonda Manish Kumar, District Development Officer Aditya Tiwari, the Additional District Panchayati Raj Officer, District Supply Officer, District Social Welfare Officer, District Programme Officer, District Probation Officer, District Divyangjan Empowerment Officer Madhavi Pandey, and officers from other departments, along with several other district-level officials.
