Lucknow: The highlight of this year’s festival was the quiz competition organized by Dastak in collaboration with UP Tourism, UP Eco-Tourism, and Water Aid. The quiz focused on Uttar Pradesh’s culture, heritage, and eco-tourism and was conducted by renowned quizmaster Kunal Savarkar along with his team members Aniruddh and Ashutosh.
A total of 20 questions were prepared for the 100 participating teams, from which six finalists were selected for an on-stage face-off. Kunal Savarkar kept the audience engaged with his intriguing and entertaining questions, rewarding every correct answer with chocolates.
The winners of the competition were Nikhil and Yashodhara, who secured the first prize of ₹20,000. The second-place winners, Babita and Shivangi, won ₹15,000, while Udbhav and Sai Virichi claimed the third prize of ₹10,000. All participants received certificates of appreciation for their efforts.
The prizes were awarded by the chief guest, Prakhar Mishra, Director of Tourism and Additional Director of the UP Eco-Tourism Development Board. Kunal Savarkar and his team were honored with handcrafted Gamchas, while the chief guest was felicitated by Shivlika Acharya on behalf of Dastak.
During the interval, while the results were being prepared, Preeti Tiwari and her team mesmerized the audience with a beautiful dance drama, Haman Hai Ishq Mastana. The performance featured Abhishek Singh, Prerna Vishwakarma, Ankita Singh, Mansi Mishra, and Shaily Maurya, adding a cultural flair to the event.
