Lucknow– The University of Southampton, Delhi, in association with the Institute for Career Studies (ICS) Lucknow, hosted a thought-provoking workshop on Exploring the Future of Higher Education in India at the Renaissance Hotel. The event brought together esteemed school principals, career counsellors, and teachers to discuss the evolving education landscape and the University of Southampton’s role in providing world-class education in India.

- Dr. Amrita Dass: In her keynote address, Dr. Amrita Dass, Founder Director, ICS, emphasized the importance of informed decision-making for students transitioning from school to higher education. She advised students to acquire micro-specializations like digital marketing, analytics, and design thinking to boost employability.
- Pritesh Zaveri: Pritesh Zaveri, Director, Admission Outreach & Marketing, University of Southampton Delhi, highlighted the university’s global reputation (QS Rank 80) and commitment to bringing world-class education to India. He emphasized the university’s 96% placement rate and the uniform academic standards across its global campuses.
- Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon: Prof. Geeta Kingdon, Manager, City Montessori School Society, shared insights from her 31+ years in the UK’s higher education sector. She explained the UK’s rigorous Research Excellence Framework (REF) and the importance of student feedback systems in UK universities.
