Gonda: The first executive committee and working committee meeting of the Eastern Uttar Pradesh Maheshwari Mahila Sangathan was held on Saturday night at Shri Ram Janaki Marwari Dharamshala in Rani Bazar, Gonda. The meeting was hosted by the Maheshwari Mahila Sangathan, Gonda.
The meeting brought together office-bearers and members of the organisation from across Eastern Uttar Pradesh. State president Rekha Somani, state secretary Manisha Chola, along with Shashi Never, Seema Laddha, Bharti Karwa and Mamta Rathi, attended the meeting. Members and office-bearers from Varanasi, Mirzapur and Lucknow were also present.
The meeting was followed by a vibrant cultural programme in which women members participated enthusiastically and showcased their talents. The performances added a festive atmosphere to the gathering and provided members an opportunity to engage in cultural activities.
The programme was successfully organised with the active support of Maheshwari Mahila Sangathan treasurer Priyanshi Dargarh, minister Bhavna Somani, president Preeti Daga and members including Shobhana, Shreya, Sarita, Pushpa Somani, Seema, Lakshmi Somani, Himangi, Rajni, Sumitra and Chanchal, among others. The meeting provided an opportunity for members from different districts to interact, discuss organisational activities and strengthen coordination within the women’s organisation.
