Bareilly’s Sneha bags silver in America

Bareilly: Sneha Gupta, who hails from Lucknow and Bareilly, won the silver medal in the National Rifle and Pistol Junior Olympic Championship 2024 in America. Along with this medal, Sneha also achieved the feat of achieving second ranking in America in Under-21. Sneha wants to play for America in the Junior World Championship. This championship will be held in Lima, the capital of Peru in September-October.

Sneha Gupta (14 years), granddaughter of Dev Murthy, founder and chairman of SRMS Trust operating in Bareilly and Lucknow, and daughter of Professor Shyamal Gupta, director of SRMS institutes based in Lucknow, is a class 10 student of Kunskapakalan School, Lucknow. Shyamal said that the National Rifle/Pistol Junior Olympic Championship was organized from 14 to 16 April by USA Shooting, an organization of the USA Olympic Association.

Only winners and runners-up from all 50 states of America, i.e. players who achieve gold and silver, are invited for this championship organized for nationally recognized players.
