Incident and Police Operation
On January 31, 2025, a dedicated police team comprising Head Constable Lokesh, Constable Ramu Lal, Constable Shiv Pratap, and Constable Ashish was on routine patrol duty in the Subhash Nagar area. The operation was led by Sub-Inspector Vikas Fageria, In-Charge of Police Post Subhash Nagar, under the close supervision of Inspector M.S. Kamal, SHO Rajouri Garden, and Ms. Niraj Tokas, ACP Rajouri Garden.
While patrolling near Chhatri Wala Park in Subhash Nagar, the team noticed a suspicious individual dragging a scooter. His nervous demeanor and evasive behavior raised red flags. The police immediately intercepted him and conducted a thorough search, leading to the recovery of a spring-actuated knife from his possession.
Upon verifying the scooter’s registration details, it was confirmed to be stolen from the jurisdiction of Hari Nagar Police Station. The accused was identified as Arjun, son of Ram Pravesh, a 24-year-old resident of Golden Park, Rampura, Punjabi Bagh, Delhi.
Further Investigation and Recovery
During a detailed interrogation, Arjun confessed to his involvement in multiple vehicle thefts. Based on the information provided by him, the police conducted follow-up raids and successfully recovered another stolen scooter.

The police are now investigating whether Arjun was part of a larger vehicle theft syndicate. His arrest has undoubtedly helped in solving multiple theft cases, and further interrogations may lead to more revelations.
The accused has been remanded to police custody, and legal proceedings are underway.
