Lucknow: A dignified event was organised in Kathwara to mark the birth anniversary of B R Ambedkar, with villagers coming together to pay tribute and reflect on his enduring legacy.
The event was attended by several local residents, with Dr Chandraketu Singh as the chief guest. Addressing the gathering, Dr. Singh described Dr. Ambedkar’s life as a powerful source of inspiration, rooted in the ideals of education, equal opportunity, and social harmony.
He emphasised that the Indian Constitution has provided a strong foundation for every citizen to progress and succeed. Stressing the importance of education, Dr. Singh urged parents to prioritise their children’s learning, noting that consistent effort and patience are essential to building a brighter future.
Drawing examples from rural life, he highlighted education as the most effective tool for empowerment and overall development. He underscored its vital role in uplifting society and creating opportunities for the younger generation.

In a significant announcement, Dr. Singh revealed plans to establish a free library in the village soon. The initiative aims to provide better academic resources for children and youth, encouraging a culture of reading and learning.
Several prominent members of the community, including Amarjeet Singh, Chandrapal Bhaskar, Ramchander Gautam, Shyamu Gautam, Sujit Gautam, and Manish Gautam, were present at the event.
The programme concluded with participants pledging to adopt the ideals of Dr. Ambedkar in their daily lives. The gathering ended on a spirited note with slogans of “Jai Bhim, Jai Bharat,” reflecting a collective commitment to equality and social progress.
