Gonda Police Begin Construction Projects for Cyber Police Station, Guest House and 12-Storey Barrack

Gonda: Gonda Superintendent of Police Abhishek performed the bhoomi pujan for three major police infrastructure projects on Wednesday, aimed at strengthening the district police force and improving facilities for personnel.

The projects include a cyber police station and a police guest house being constructed beside the Traffic Office, as well as a 12-storey men’s barrack at the Reserve Police Lines in Gonda.

The Public Works Department (PWD) is executing the cyber police station and guest house projects, while the Uttar Pradesh State Construction and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (UPSIDCO) is constructing the multi-storey barrack.

The new cyber police station is expected to strengthen the investigation of cybercrime complaints, facilitate the collection of digital evidence and improve action against online fraud, fraudulent links, social media scams and other cyber offences.

The police guest house will provide improved accommodation for officers and other visitors travelling to the district for official work.

The 12-storey barrack will have accommodation for approximately 200 police personnel, helping improve residential facilities at the Reserve Police Lines.

These projects are part of efforts to modernise the district police infrastructure, expand facilities and provide a better working and living environment for personnel. Once completed, they are expected to strengthen the operational capacity and administrative arrangements of Gonda Police.
