Mumbai: ASUS India has announced a long-term partnership with MSME expert and Quantum Leap founder Rajiv Talreja, who will serve as a mentor for the MSME segment. The collaboration aims to strengthen the ASUS Expert Series promise of “Built for Worry-Free Business” and help Indian small and medium-sized businesses build globally competitive capabilities.
The partnership is designed to encourage MSME leaders to rethink how they use business PCs and help them overcome technology-related challenges so they can focus more effectively on sustainable business growth.
MSMEs are among India’s major employment-generating sectors and play an important role in the country’s economic growth. ASUS believes that adopting PCs specifically designed for business workloads can help businesses address everyday technology challenges while improving productivity, collaboration, security and operational efficiency.
Talreja brings extensive experience of working with the MSME ecosystem. Through Quantum Leap’s training and coaching programmes, he has worked with more than 1.2 million business owners. His understanding of the operational challenges faced by MSME founders forms a key part of the partnership.
ASUS said it identified a significant market gap in the business PC segment, with many small businesses and professionals continuing to purchase consumer laptops through regular retail channels despite placing high importance on durability, performance, upgradeability, battery life, security and after-sales support.
The ASUS Expert Series was developed to address these requirements, offering business-focused computing solutions designed around reliability, security and performance. The portfolio is positioned as a way to reduce downtime and total cost of ownership while providing a more seamless technology experience for businesses.
The partnership followed more than a year of discussions between ASUS and Talreja. Before finalising the collaboration, the Quantum Leap team deployed ASUS Expert Series machines internally to evaluate the products and their value proposition. An independent survey conducted within Talreja’s MSME community also identified a similar awareness and needs gap around business-grade PCs.
Under the long-term collaboration, Talreja will help educate the MSME ecosystem about viewing technology as an investment rather than simply an expense. He will also provide ASUS with ongoing feedback from business owners, enabling the company to refine its products and solutions in line with evolving MSME requirements.

He noted that MSMEs would remain an important driver of India’s economic growth and that PCs were becoming increasingly critical to business success, particularly in the age of artificial intelligence.
Sharma said ASUS was committed to helping MSMEs understand the advantages of Expert Series PCs, which combine secure, high-performance and durable computing platforms aimed at improving workforce productivity. He added that the collaboration went beyond conventional marketing communication and would provide ASUS with continuous insights into the MSME ecosystem.
Rajiv Talreja, Founder of Quantum Leap and Voice of MSMEs, said he had previously declined brand partnerships because of the trust he had built with business owners over two decades. According to Talreja, ASUS approached the relationship differently by seeking his perspective on what MSMEs actually need rather than simply asking him to promote its products.
Talreja said discussions with ASUS continued for more than a year, during which his team surveyed its own community and found that many business owners were not even aware that business PCs constituted a distinct product category. He added that his role as a mentor would be to ensure that the voice of business owners reaches technology manufacturers and to encourage MSMEs to view technology as a long-term investment.
ASUS said its Expert Series is designed around the priorities of MSMEs, with secure, high-performance and durable computing platforms aimed at improving workforce productivity.
