Bareilly: District Magistrate Avinash Singh inaugurated a Health ATM at the Collectorate premises, marking a significant step towards providing quick and accessible healthcare services to members of the public visiting the district headquarters.
The facility has been established primarily to benefit citizens who travel from different parts of the district to attend the daily public grievance redressal programme. Speaking at the inauguration, the District Magistrate said the administration aims not only to resolve public grievances but also to ensure the well-being of visitors by offering basic health screening at one location.
The Health ATM enables users to check key health parameters, including blood pressure, blood sugar, oxygen saturation (SpO₂), pulse rate, body temperature, weight and Body Mass Index (BMI). A laboratory technician will also be available at the facility every day from 10 a.m. to 12 noon to assist citizens with health assessments.
Chief Medical Officer Dr. Vishram Singh and other district officials attended the inauguration ceremony. The administration said the initiative would help improve access to preventive healthcare while making public services more citizen-friendly.
