Har Ghar Gangajal’ Campaign Launched in Bareilly, Targets 10,000 Families During Shravan

Bareilly: A special ‘Har Ghar Gangajal’ (Gangajal for Every Home) campaign was launched in Bareilly during the holy month of Shravan, with Uttar Pradesh State Women’s Commission member Pushpa Pandey distributing 1,000 containers of Gangajal at a function held at a banquet hall on Badaun Road.

Addressing the gathering, Pushpa Pandey described the initiative as a unique campaign aimed at enabling more devotees to perform Jalabhishek of Lord Shiva during Shravan. She said the drive seeks to deliver Gangajal to 10,000 households across the region, strengthening religious participation and community outreach.

The programme also featured cultural performances by students of Aryaputri Inter College. BJP State Minister Subhashini Jaiswal, the guest of honour, praised the initiative, saying it combined public service with spiritual values and would help connect thousands of women and families with the religious significance of the holy month.

Participants appreciated the campaign as an effort to promote cultural traditions and social harmony. The event was conducted by Santosh Pandey and attended by social workers, public representatives and members of various organisations.
