Gonda: In line with the Uttar Pradesh government’s commitment to effective public grievance redressal, Sampoorna Samadhan Diwas was organized across all tehsils of Gonda district on Saturday, providing citizens with a single platform to present their complaints and seek solutions to administrative issues.
At the Gonda Sadar Tehsil, District Magistrate Priyanka Niranjan, Superintendent of Police Vineet Jaiswal, and Chief Development Officer Dayanand Prasad personally heard the grievances of citizens and directed concerned departments to ensure prompt, transparent, and quality resolution of complaints.
170 Complaints Received, Seven Resolved Immediately
During the public hearing session, a total of 170 complaints were received at Gonda Sadar Tehsil. Out of these, seven cases were resolved on the spot, while the remaining 163 complaints were forwarded to the concerned departments with instructions for disposal within the prescribed timeline.
The District Magistrate emphasized that all complaints must be addressed in a time-bound manner and that detailed action reports should be submitted to the tehsil authorities after proper resolution.
Joint Teams to Ensure Effective Resolution
To improve the quality of grievance redressal, the District Magistrate instructed officials to constitute dedicated teams for investigating complaints. She directed that both parties involved in a dispute should be called to the site during field inspections to ensure fair hearing and objective resolution.
She also stressed that cases involving illegal encroachments, village pathways, pond land, drainage issues, and unauthorized occupations should be addressed through coordinated action by joint teams comprising revenue and police officials.
Officials were directed to document proceedings through photography and videography and maintain written records of complainants’ presence during inspections.
Strict Action Warned for Negligence
Priyanka Niranjan warned officials that complaints received during Sampoorna Samadhan Diwas must be resolved after proper field verification and with complete quality assurance.
She stated that negligence or failure to dispose of grievances effectively would invite strict action against the concerned officials.

Key Cases Reviewed
Among the complaints reviewed, Raghav, a resident of Pure Sidhari village in Mujehna, alleged that despite being allotted agricultural land under a lease scheme, he had not received physical possession of the property.
Taking cognizance of the matter, the District Magistrate directed the District Development Officer, the Station House Officer of Itiyathok Police Station, and the concerned Revenue Inspector to jointly visit the site and ensure resolution of the issue.
In another case, Amar Nath of Kurmin Purwa, Parasarai, Itiyathok, complained that a neighboring landholder had allegedly encroached upon land adjacent to his agricultural holding and constructed a toilet on it.
The District Magistrate instructed the Naib Tehsildar and the concerned revenue officials to conduct a joint inspection and resolve the matter in accordance with legal provisions.

Following the conclusion of Sampoorna Samadhan Diwas, a special distribution program was organized in the Gonda Tehsil Auditorium, where beneficiaries received assistance under various government welfare schemes.
