Pre-Primary Students Learn Lifelong Etiquette at Scholars’ Home

Lucknow: In an engaging and thoughtful initiative, pre-primary students at Scholars’ Home were introduced to essential table manners through a fun and interactive learning activity aimed at building lifelong etiquette skills.

The session focused on teaching children simple yet important dining habits in an enjoyable and stress-free manner. Educators emphasized that etiquette is best learned through consistency and positive reinforcement rather than strict rules. Young learners were guided through basic practices such as washing hands before meals, sitting properly at the table, and waiting patiently for everyone to be served.

Students were also encouraged to use polite expressions like “please” and “thank you,” helping them understand the value of courtesy in everyday life. The activity further included demonstrations of mindful eating habits, such as chewing with their mouths closed, correctly using cutlery, and placing napkins neatly on their laps.

Teachers noted that these foundational lessons not only improve dining behaviour but also contribute to the overall personality development of children. By learning these habits early, students begin to develop confidence, discipline, and respect for others.

The initiative reflects the school’s commitment to holistic education, where life skills are nurtured alongside academics, ensuring that children grow into well-mannered and socially aware individuals.
