Bareilly: District Magistrate Avinash Singh chaired a crucial review meeting on the implementation of the e-Office system at the Collectorate auditorium, emphasising the need to accelerate the transition toward paperless governance across all departments.
During the meeting, the District Magistrate issued strict instructions stating that salaries may be withheld in offices or sections where work is not being carried out through the e-Office platform. He directed officials facing technical or operational issues to resolve them at the earliest and ensure that all government work is processed digitally without delay.
Highlighting the government’s priority of creating a paperless administrative system, he instructed all departments in the district to adopt the e-Office mechanism and shift file movement and documentation processes online. The move is aimed at enhancing efficiency, transparency, and accountability in governance.
A detailed review was conducted of departments that have already operationalised e-Office and those yet to go live with the system. The District Magistrate directed all remaining offices to expedite the rollout and ensure full compliance with the digital workflow system.

Senior officials present at the meeting included Additional District Magistrate (Finance & Revenue) Santosh Kumar Singh, Additional District Magistrate (Administration) Purnima Singh, Additional District Magistrate (City) Saurabh Dubey, Additional District Magistrate (Judicial) Desh Deepak, City Magistrate Rajesh Kumar Verma, the Chief Treasury Officer, and other concerned officials.
The administration reiterated its commitment to fully digitising official processes, aligning with broader efforts to modernise governance and improve service delivery at the grassroots level.
