Annual Function and Report Card Distribution Ceremony Held in Gonda

Gonda: The Annual Function, Farewell Ceremony, and Report Card Distribution Programme was held with great enthusiasm at Primary School Redaura in Mankapur block under the School Chalo Abhiyan, celebrated as “Pratibha Parv.”

The programme began with the garlanding of the portrait of Goddess Saraswati and lighting of the ceremonial lamp by Chief Guest Harshit Pandey, Block Education Officer, Mankapur, along with Amit Mishra, DIET Lecturer. Distinguished guests included Ravi Prakash Singh, District President, UTA, Radha Mohan Pandey, District President, Secondary Teachers Association, and Janardan Prasad Pandey, Block President, Junior Teachers Association.

Headmaster Amit Pandey, along with Poonam Yadav and Sangeeta Devi, welcomed the guests. Students presented a Saraswati Vandana and welcome song. Newly admitted students were welcomed with traditional tilak and garlands.

Meritorious students from Classes 1 to 5 were honoured with medals and gifts. Resource persons Firoz Ahmad Khan, Shailendra Pratap Singh, and Indu Pratap Singh encouraged parents to focus on education.

In his address, Harshit Pandey appealed to parents and the community to increase enrolment in government schools. Amit Mishra informed about various government schemes and facilities available for primary school students. Ravi Prakash Singh highlighted the importance of quality education for building a strong society.

Students of Class 5 were given learning kits, report cards, and transfer certificates, followed by a farewell. The programme was conducted by Girish Kumar Pandey ‘Vidyarthi’, with a welcome address by Kamlesh Pandey and a vote of thanks by Amit Pandey.

Several dignitaries, including village head Jhinnu Prasad Pandey, teachers, and community members, were present. The programme concluded with the National Anthem.
