Lucknow – Nand Gopal Gupta ‘Nandi’, Minister of Industrial Development, Uttar Pradesh, emphasized the critical role of education in shaping individuals and nation-building while addressing students at the Divine Seminar and Report Card Distribution Ceremony at City Montessori School (CMS).
During the event, Minister Nandi interacted with students, encouraging them to internalize high moral values and ethics, and inspired them to become sources of motivation for society in the future. He stated,
“Education is not limited to bookish knowledge; it is the foundation of personality development and nation-building. Its true purpose lies in creating awareness of one’s duties towards society and the nation. True education is fulfilling one’s responsibilities to society alongside personal ambitions.”
Minister Nandi highlighted the school’s long-standing commitment to holistic education, noting the vision and efforts of the late Jagdish Gandhi in laying CMS’s foundation.
Addressing global challenges, he said,
“The world faces a severe geopolitical crisis today. The hunger for power and dominance has diminished the value of human life, with thousands, including women and children, losing their lives daily. While the world has modernized, it has drifted away from compassion and the highest human values. In this darkness, India’s spiritual consciousness and high moral standards act as a guiding torch. Our unwavering resolve is grounded in this divine consciousness and enduring self-confidence.”
Highlighting Uttar Pradesh’s development achievements under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Minister Nandi remarked,
“While half the world is witnessing missile and drone attacks, Uttar Pradesh is inaugurating Asia’s largest airport. India is hosting major sporting events like the IPL. These are direct proofs of capable and effective leadership.”
He further urged students to prepare themselves to contribute to India 2047, reflecting Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for a developed India, adding that CMS and the state government will support them at every step.
The ceremony was attended by Prof. Geeta Gandhi, Manager of CMS, Dr. Bharti Gandhi, Founder Director, Shri Jayashree Krishnan, Principal of Rajendra Nagar Campus, along with teachers, parents, and students.
