Gulki Joshi Explores Subtle Emotions in Sony SAB’s ‘Hui Gum Yaadein’

Mumbai: Sony SAB’s upcoming show Hui Gum Yaadein – Ek Doctor, Do Zindagiyan, an adaptation of the popular Italian series DOC, brings an emotional tale of lost memories, identity, and second chances. Set to premiere on April 6, the show will air Monday to Saturday at 8 PM.

The story follows Dr. Dev Mehta (Iqbal Khan), a renowned doctor attempting to rebuild his life after losing eight years of memories. Central to the narrative is his former wife, Srishti, portrayed by Gulki Joshi, who navigates her professional and personal challenges with composure, discipline, and emotional restraint. As the hospital administrator, Srishti is a pillar of stability, balancing empathy with professionalism.

For Joshi, playing Srishti was a departure from her previous strong and outspoken roles. “Srishti expresses very little outwardly and keeps much within. I had to focus on subtle gestures, pauses, and controlled expressions, which was challenging but extremely satisfying,” Joshi shared.

The show promises a deep, nuanced exploration of relationships, resilience, and hidden emotions.

Catch ‘Hui Gum Yaadein – Ek Doctor, Do Zindagiyan’ from April 6, Monday to Saturday at 8 PM on Sony SAB.
