Lucknow: A one-day hands-on workshop on Basic Skills and Laparoscopic Suturing (Endosuturing) was successfully conducted at Vivekananda Polyclinic and Institute of Medical Sciences. The programme was organized by Dr. Mona Mishra from the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
The workshop began with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony in the presence of Secretary Swami Muktinathanand, Medical Superintendent Dr. B.K. Singh, Dr. Mona Mishra, Dr. Kanupriya Jindal and other senior consultants. A large number of doctors, DNB students and nursing staff participated enthusiastically.
Participants received practical training on laparoscopic trainers, focusing on both basic and advanced intracorporeal suturing techniques. The session emphasized precision, coordination and efficiency in minimally invasive surgery, a rapidly evolving field in modern healthcare.

Addressing the gathering, Swami Muktinathanand highlighted the importance of continuous skill development and training to maintain excellence in medical education and patient care. The workshop proved highly informative and professionally enriching for all attendees.
