Lucknow: The Lucknow Police Commissionerate has solved the sensational murder of a 60-year-old man, popularly known as Kallu Baba, in the Dubagga police station area. According to police, the victim was strangled with a bedsheet and his body was later dumped in a pit in an attempt to conceal the crime.
Under the leadership of Dubagga Station House Officer Shrikant Rai, a police team launched an investigation after registering a case on the complaint filed by the deceased’s brother. Acting swiftly, police arrested three accused — Ankit Tiwari, Rahul Rawat, and a juvenile.
During interrogation, it was revealed that the murder stemmed from an old rivalry. On January 16, Ankit Tiwari’s scooter was allegedly set on fire by unidentified persons. Suspecting the involvement of Kallu Baba and his associates, the accused nursed a grudge and conspired to eliminate him. The trio allegedly executed the plan by strangling the victim with a sheet before disposing of the body.

All accused have been sent to jail, and further legal proceedings are underway. Police are continuing the investigation to examine all aspects of the case.
