Lucknow | Ajara Earth Community successfully hosted Mridangam – An Immersive Cultural Evening, with the support of the Lucknow Development Authority (LDA), on February 20, 2026, at the auditorium of The Sanskriti School.
Led by Founder Aditi Kumar, the event was thoughtfully curated as a platform integrating art, youth participation, and the living wisdom of the Bhagavad Gita into contemporary civic spaces. The evening drew the presence of Lucknow’s distinguished administrative officers, dignitaries, social leaders, cultural personalities, influencers, and content creators.
Guests were welcomed with a traditional Nagada recital, followed by a curated art exhibition at the entrance passage, setting an immersive cultural tone from the outset. The ceremonial Deep Prajjwalan was performed by Dinadayal Krishna Das, Vice President of ISKCON Lucknow, and Seema Gupta (wife of Late Jitendra Kumar, IAS).
The programme featured a soulful classical flute recital and a vibrant Raasotsav dance presentation curated by Puneet and team, alongside disciplined and graceful performances by students. Each presentation reflected artistic excellence grounded in value-based education, reinforcing the evening’s central theme—nurturing young minds through cultural grounding and ethical awareness.
A key highlight was the Gita Connect interactive session led by Dinadayal Krishna Das, emphasizing ethical parenting, value education, leadership, and emotional balance in contemporary society.
The evening concluded with kirtan and community prasadam, embodying the spirit of culture, character, and collective consciousness. Mridangam stood as a testament to how collaborative cultural initiatives, supported by institutions, can foster meaningful dialogue rooted in Indian ethos while addressing modern societal needs.
