Bareilly: On the 51st Foundation Day of Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University, Vice-Chancellor Prof. K.P. Singh extended warm greetings to students, faculty, staff, alumni, and the people of the Rohilkhand region in a special interaction with Lucknow Tribune.
Reflecting on the university’s journey, Prof. Singh emphasized that education remains the most transformative force in human life, drawing inspiration from India’s ancient centers of learning such as Nalanda University and Takshashila University. He reaffirmed the university’s guiding motto, “Charaiveti, Charaiveti” (keep moving forward), as central to its academic vision.
MJPRU, one of Uttar Pradesh’s largest universities, oversees departments and 587 affiliated colleges across nine districts, including Bareilly, Moradabad, Rampur, and Pilibhit. The university recently secured an ‘A++’ grade from National Assessment and Accreditation Council with a CGPA of 3.6, placing it among the top institutions in the state.

Prof. Singh highlighted international collaborations, blockchain-based academic record storage, significant research output, and strong performances in academics and sports. He called upon all stakeholders to collectively strive toward elevating the institution to greater heights.
