Naubasta, Gonda: The three-day Rameshwar Nath Dham Janhit (Public Welfare) Fair commenced with the recitation of Sunderkand at the Rameshwar Nath Dham premises in Naubasta village. The inauguration created a festive atmosphere in the region, drawing a large number of villagers.
The fair is being organized by Dr. Deepen Sinha, a native of Gonda district who has been residing in the United States for nearly 38 years. Currently serving as CEO and President of ATC Labs, New Jersey, Director of NIPL, and Chief Trustee of the R.N. Several public welfare services have been arranged for villagers, including free eye check-up camps, a TB testing center, and a general health camp. Stalls by the legal advisory department, agriculture department, banks, Lokvani, and public service centers are providing information and services related to various government schemes. On-the-spot gas connections are being issued, while the electricity department is facilitating bill payments, grievance redressal, and new connections.
Gonda Superintendent of Police Vineet Jaiswal inaugurated the Knowledge and Science Quiz Competition by lighting the ceremonial lamp. Around 200 students participated in the competition, divided into two categories: Classes 8–10 and Classes 11–12. Winners will be announced on the final day, with first, second, and third prize holders receiving year-long scholarships. Additionally, ten students from each category will receive special awards.
For children’s entertainment and development, free camel rides, swings, and boat rides have been arranged, along with daily magic and puppet shows. The Meena Bazaar and food stalls are also major attractions.

The highlight of the day was the grand evening aarti at 6 p.m., followed by the distribution of prasad. At night, a devotional program titled “Jai Bhavani – Jai Jagran,” performed by the Jai Bhavani Babua Group, filled the atmosphere with spiritual fervor.
