Lucknow: Students of Madhyamik Vidyalaya, Jan Bhavan, and National Inter College, Lucknow, who will participate in the Republic Day 2026 parade, held an impressive full band dress rehearsal at the Jan Bhavan premises.
The rehearsal was reviewed by Governor of Uttar Pradesh, Anandiben Patel, who observed the students’ performance and encouraged them for their upcoming participation in the state-level Republic Day celebrations.
During the rehearsal, the students presented a spirited and disciplined band performance on the tunes of patriotic songs ‘Vande Mataram’, ‘Sare Jahan Se Achha’, and the National Anthem ‘Jana Gana Mana’. Their precise marching, rhythmic coordination, and high level of enthusiasm were widely appreciated and drew admiration from all present.
Commending the students for their excellent performance, Governor Anandiben Patel lauded their discipline and dedication, and extended her best wishes for their bright future. She said such performances not only reflect patriotism but also instill values of unity, teamwork, and discipline among the youth.
On the occasion, Speaker of the Delhi Legislative Assembly, Brijendra Gupta, who was also present, praised the students for their commitment, discipline, and well-coordinated presentation, and encouraged them to continue striving for excellence.
Several senior officials and distinguished guests were present during the rehearsal. The event marked an important step in preparations for the Republic Day 2026 celebrations, with the students set to play a prominent role in the ceremonial parade.
