Mumbai: Sony SAB’s popular show Itti Si Khushi continues to explore the emotional journey of Anvita (Sumbul Touqeer Khan), a resilient young woman who has stood by her father Suhas (Varun Badola) and siblings through life’s challenges. Her world becomes more complicated as she navigates a tense emotional triangle involving Sanjay (Rishi Saxena) and the unexpected return of Virat (Rajat Verma), the man who once left her at the altar.
In the upcoming episodes, tensions rise between Virat and Anvita, with their café confrontations becoming a recurring motif. Beneath the arguments and power struggles, Virat’s enduring love for Anvita becomes evident. A dramatic twist occurs at a party when Virat appears with Dhruvi (Garima Kaushal), igniting jealousy in Anvita and forcing her to confront long-suppressed feelings—a realization Virat is quick to highlight. Matters take another turn when Anvita’s friend Diya (Meghna Kukreja) calls out their confusion, helping Virat acknowledge that his actions, though often ego-driven, are rooted in love.
The emotional climax arrives when Virat boldly tells Anvita that he knows she still harbours feelings for him and confidently claims she will one day return to him, even as he asserts control by threatening to take over her café and influence her life again.
Rajat Verma, who plays Virat, comments, “Virat is a layered character. On the surface, he seems arrogant and controlling, but deep down, he has never stopped loving Anvita. His ego and guilt drive many of his actions, creating a messy, real emotional struggle that viewers can relate to. In the coming episodes, Virat has to confront the truth about his feelings, and that inner conflict between love and pride is what makes his journey compelling.”
