Lucknow: The weekly public outreach initiative ‘Aapka Vidhayak – Aapke Dwar’ launched by BJP MLA from Sarojininagar, Dr. Rajeshwar Singh, has completed 146 successful camps, emerging as a consistent platform to connect governance with grassroots needs. The 146th camp was organised on Sunday at Ashrafnagar under the Arjunganj Mandal, drawing a large turnout of local residents who shared their concerns, suggestions, and requirements.
During the Jan Samvad, villagers highlighted around 23 issues, including demands related to street lights, PM Awas Yojana housing, drainage repairs, road improvement, Ayushman cards, and old-age pensions. According to officials, three issues were resolved on the spot, while others were forwarded to the concerned departments for action.
Honouring Merit: Bright Students Awarded Bicycles
Under the ‘Gaon Ki Shaan’ initiative, four meritorious students of Ashrafnagar who excelled in their board examinations were honoured. Those felicitated included Prashant Verma (96.5%), Sadhna Rawat (80%), Shlok Kashyap (73%), and Amardeep (69%). They received bicycles, wristwatches, and commendation certificates as encouragement for their academic achievements.
Boost to Sports Culture: New Youth Clubs Formed
Reinforcing his commitment to youth development, Dr. Rajeshwar Singh announced the formation of the 160th Boys Youth Club and the 95th Girls Youth Club in Ashrafnagar. Both clubs were equipped with sports kits including carrom boards, volleyballs, cricket kits, and footballs, aimed at nurturing a vibrant sporting culture in the region.
Healthcare at the Doorstep: Free Eye Camp Organised
Strengthening local health services, a free health and eye check-up camp was organised in collaboration with Vision Plus Hospital.
Around 50 residents underwent eye examinations, and spectacles were distributed based on their medical requirements. The health camp was welcomed by villagers who often travel long distances for routine check-ups.

Voter Assistance and Public Support
A dedicated SIR Help Desk was also set up at the venue to assist villagers with voter list revision and related documentation. Local BLA-2 members and concerned officials were present to guide people through the form-filling process.
Community Recognition & Hospitality
During the event, several active community members and local office bearers—including Dinesh Kashyap, Sachin Nath, Manish Kumar, Subedar Lodhi, Mukesh Lodhi, Ram Naresh Lodhi, Ramu Lodhi, Lata Tiwari, Renu Kushwaha, Monika Gautam, Sushmita Singh, Archana, Kuldeep, Nanki, Basanti, Savitri, and Arjun Dhanuk—were honoured with traditional shawls for their support and service.
The camp concluded with the distribution of fresh and nutritious meals to all participants under the Tarashakti Free Kitchen initiative, reinforcing the MLA’s focus on welfare with dignity.
The Ashrafnagar Jan Samvad once again underlined the spirit of accessibility, accountability, and direct dialogue that has allowed the initiative to expand across the constituency with remarkable consistency.
