Lucknow: A wave of devotion and anticipation swept across the country ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Ayodhya , where he ceremonially hoisted the saffron flag atop the Ram Temple. Marking the significance of the moment, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the faith, penance and centuries-long wait of millions of Ram devotees are “reaching a new pinnacle today.”
In a message posted on ‘X’, the Chief Minister wrote, “In the holiest of the Sapta Puris, Shri Ayodhya Dham, the grand saffron flag will be hoisted today by Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi atop the shikhar of the sacred Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple.”

CM Yogi said the ceremony symbolises the revival of Sanatan culture and is filling the entire country with “indomitable spiritual and inner energy.” He added that the collective devotion and perseverance of crores of Ram bhakts will finally be honoured on this historic day.
“The nation today is Ram-may, Dharm-may,” he wrote.
He extended a warm welcome to all dignitaries arriving in Ayodhya for the ceremony, saying that the city of Lord Ram—embodying truth, righteousness and compassion—opens its heart to all guests. “Jai Shri Ram,” he concluded.
Ayodhya Set to Host Devotees, Saints and Global Visitors
Yogi further wrote that Ayodhya, glowing with the “radiant brilliance of Sanatan pride,” is ready to host revered saints, dharma gurus and Ram devotees from across India and abroad who are arriving to witness the grand flag-hoisting ceremony.
He urged guests to grace the occasion, noting that their presence strengthens the nation’s cultural renaissance and its commitment to dharma and national upliftment.
Warm Welcome to RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat
The Chief Minister also extended a special welcome to the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Sarsanghchalak, Dr. Mohan Bhagwat, who will be present for the event. Calling Ayodhya the sacred ground of unwavering faith, national dedication and Sanatan dharma, Yogi said the presence of the RSS chief adds immense significance to the day.
As Ayodhya prepares to witness the raising of the saffron dhwaj atop the Ram Temple’s crown, the air is thick with emotion, devotion and a sense of civilisational fulfilment—marking a moment that millions have awaited for generations.
