Kannauj : On the occasion of the 11th International Yoga Day, Uttar Pradesh’s Minister of Social Welfare, Asim Arun, participated in a mass yoga session held at Kannauj Police Lines at 6:00 AM. The event was part of the nationwide celebrations being held under the theme “Yoga for One Earth, One Health.”
A large number of district officials, employees, and local citizens enthusiastically took part in the yoga program. Addressing the gathering, Minister Arun emphasized the importance of making yoga a daily routine rather than a one-day event.
“Yoga is essential not just for physical well-being but also for mental health, as it enhances our efficiency and brings a positive impact on our work life,” said the Minister. He encouraged everyone to begin their day with good practices, noting that yoga is an excellent way to do so.
Minister Arun further added, “Let’s all resolve to dedicate some time every day to physical activity. If we stay consistent, by the next Yoga Day, we will all see significant improvements in our health.”
The event showcased the state government’s ongoing commitment to integrating yoga into public life as a tool for holistic wellness, discipline, and productivity.
