Governor Anandiben Patel Praises Students’ Artistic Talent at Design Workshop in Raj Bhavan

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Governor,  Anandiben Patel, visited a one-day design workshop held at Raj Bhavan, which witnessed the participation of 57 students from the College of Arts and Crafts, Faculty of Fine Arts, Lucknow University. The students showcased their talent in textile design, fine arts, and commercial art.

Commending the artistic skills and creativity of the students, the Governor extended her best wishes for their bright future. She encouraged them to prioritize environmental conservation in their art, emphasizing that incorporating environmental themes into paintings or designs can raise awareness and contribute positively to society.

At the conclusion of the workshop, all participants were awarded certificates. The event provided a significant platform for students to showcase their creativity while also offering guidance and motivation.

It is noteworthy that a similar workshop was organized at Raj Bhavan last year, reflecting the commitment to fostering artistic talent among students.

The event was attended by several dignitaries, including the Additional Chief Secretary to the Governor, Dr. Sudhir Mahadev Bobde, Vice-Chancellor of Lucknow University, Prof. Alok Kumar Rai, Faculty Dean and Principal Dr. Ratan Kumar, students, and other officials.

This initiative highlighted the importance of nurturing creativity and environmental consciousness through art.
