Lucknow: In line with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s vision, Amausi will be modernized under the Atal Industrial Infrastructure Mission, bringing state-of-the-art facilities to the area
Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Authority (UPSIDA) to oversee construction and development projects, with a budget allocation of Rs 53.11 crore
Key infrastructure upgrades will include road construction, drainage systems, desilting chambers, and establishment of a cutting-edge Integrated Control and Command Center
The project will also enhance green spaces, upgrade CCTV coverage, and improve the Common Facility Center to meet modern industrial standards
The Yogi government, dedicated to fostering a robust industrial environment in Uttar Pradesh, is undertaking large-scale development and infrastructure upgrades across various industrial areas in the state. In this context, the rejuvenation plan for Lucknow’s Amausi Industrial Area has been finalized.
Following Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s vision, the Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Authority (UPSIDA) will invest Rs 53.11 crore to expand and upgrade several key facilities in the Amausi Industrial Area. This will include road enhancements, improved drainage systems, desilting chambers, and the establishment of a cutting-edge Integrated Control and Command Center.
Additionally, the project will introduce extensive greenery, improved CCTV coverage, and upgrades to the Common Facility Center. All these initiatives will be executed under the Atal Industrial Infrastructure Mission.
In line with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s vision, the comprehensive rejuvenation of the Amausi Industrial Area will be carried out as part of the Atal Industrial Infrastructure Mission. Given Amausi’s strategic logistical advantages, it has become a pivotal area for industrial expansion. In response, the Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Authority (UPSIDA) has outlined a range of construction and development projects.
UPSIDA CEO Mayur Maheshwari said, “Under CM Yogi’s leadership, the authority is actively promoting industrialization in Uttar Pradesh, which is expected to significantly boost the state’s economic progress. These development efforts will create new industrial opportunities and strengthen Lucknow as a key industrial hub.”
The transformation of Amausi will include the following enhancements:
– Upgrading 4.23 km of roads, including widening existing roads and constructing 800 meters of new paved roads.
– Construction of 98 desilting chambers, 7 culverts, and a 2.89 km-long Dal drainage line.
– Development of EV charging stations, new entry gates, bus shelters, and street furniture.
– Integrated Control and Command Center; establishment of a state-of-the-art facility for centralized management.
– Installation of advanced CCTV cameras and upgrades to the Common Facility Center (CFC) for improved security.
– Development of 73,044 square meters of green space with grass, trees, and plants, along with rainwater harvesting systems for gardening along entry roads and parks.
– Upgrading electricity systems at a cost of ₹13 crore, including the installation of underground 33 kV and 11 kV cables, street lights, high mast poles with tricolor lighting, and LED facade lighting to enhance the area’s aesthetics.
These initiatives aim to redefine Amausi’s industrial landscape and foster significant growth in the region.
