The programme highlighted the importance of indigenous games and encouraged children to explore outdoor activities while remaining connected to India’s cultural traditions.

Dr Avidha D. Singh, the chief guest, appreciated the school’s initiative and emphasised the role of games in promoting a healthy and happy childhood. The event began with a welcome address, ceremonial lamp lighting, prayer and a welcome dance.

The young participants introduced the audience to traditional games such as Poshampa, Gilli Danda, Seven Stones, Khoda Badam, Ringa Ringa Roses, Blindfold and Hopscotch. Through their performances, they demonstrated teamwork, coordination and sporting spirit. A patriotic song and an energetic concluding performance added to the celebrations.
