Lucknow: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has entrusted Pawan Singh Chauhan, Member of the Legislative Council (MLC) from Sitapur and Chairman of SR Group of Institutions, with another important organisational responsibility by appointing him as the State Convenor of the party’s Educational Institutions Cell.
BJP Uttar Pradesh President Pankaj Chaudhary announced the appointment in an official list released by the party’s state office on Saturday.
The appointment comes shortly after Chauhan was inducted as a Special Invitee Member of the BJP Uttar Pradesh State Executive Committee, further expanding his role within the party organisation.
Chauhan has been actively involved in the education and social sectors for several years. He heads SR Group of Institutions in Lucknow and has considerable experience in managing educational institutions and engaging with youth-oriented initiatives.
He was elected to the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Council in 2022 from the Sitapur Local Authorities constituency.
Known for emphasising education, values and employment opportunities, Chauhan will now lead the organisational activities and coordination of the BJP’s Educational Institutions Cell across Uttar Pradesh.
His latest appointment marks another significant recognition of his growing organisational responsibilities within the party.
