UP Government Releases Four Guide Videos to Promote Digital Learning in Schools

Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh government has released four instructional videos to help teachers make effective use of smart classrooms, ICT laboratories, digital libraries and Interactive Flat Panel (IFP) systems in schools across the state.

Under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s leadership, the government is working to modernise school education through technology. As part of the Samagra Shiksha initiative, these digital facilities are being provided in upper primary, composite and PM SHRI schools.

The State Project Office has prepared four guide videos, which are available on the Education Department’s official YouTube channel, ‘Nipun Bharat Uttar Pradesh’. The videos explain the features and functioning of smart classrooms, the integration of ICT laboratories into classroom teaching, learning opportunities through digital libraries and the effective use of IFP panels.

The initiative aims to encourage the regular use of digital resources and make classroom learning more engaging, interactive and effective.

Additional Chief Secretary Partha Sarthi Sen Sharma has directed all teachers to watch the four instructional videos and ensure the daily use of available digital facilities in classroom teaching.

State Project Director Monica Rani has also instructed joint directors, assistant directors, district inspectors of schools, district basic education officers, block education officers, State Resource Group (SRG) members and Academic Resource Persons (ARPs) to ensure that all teachers view the videos.

Schools equipped with ICT facilities have been asked to incorporate these resources into their daily teaching activities. Implementation and progress will be monitored through the Vidya Samiksha Kendra.
