Lucknow/Gautam Buddh Nagar: The Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (UP RERA) has approved 11 new real estate projects across five districts, with a combined estimated investment of ₹2,086.06 crore. The projects will facilitate the development of 1,873 residential and commercial units, giving a boost to construction and related economic activity across the state.
The approvals were granted during the 215th Authority meeting held at the UP RERA headquarters under the chairmanship of Authority Chairman Sanjay Bhusreddy. The proposals were reviewed before being cleared under the applicable provisions of the RERA Act.

Gautam Buddh Nagar accounted for the largest share of investment, with two residential projects involving an estimated ₹1,800.36 crore and 1,398 housing units. Lucknow received the highest number of approvals, with five projects—two residential and three commercial—entailing an investment of about ₹169.53 crore and 198 units.

Ghaziabad received approval for two residential projects involving ₹106.84 crore and 211 units. Barabanki received one residential project worth ₹5.78 crore with 53 units, while Moradabad received one commercial project involving ₹3.55 crore and 13 units.
UP RERA said monitoring would focus on regulatory compliance, transparency and timely project execution, while safeguarding the interests of homebuyers and ensuring greater accountability among promoters. The approved investments are also expected to generate activity across construction, transportation, engineering, materials and labour-related sectors.
