Bareilly: As part of the ongoing Bal Evam Yuva Mahotsav 2026 celebrations, SRMS Riddhima organised a grand ‘Rangodaya Workshop and Competition’ at its Stage and Fine Arts Centre, bringing together young artistic talent from across the city.
Around 40 students from various schools enthusiastically participated in the event, which focused on nurturing creativity and artistic expression among children.
The workshop was conducted by fine arts mentor Saurav Rastogi, who introduced participants to different painting techniques, colour combinations and key aspects of creative expression. Alongside the workshop, paintings created by the participants were also evaluated as part of a competition.
The judging panel, comprising Ashish Agrawal and Saurav Rastogi, assessed the artworks on the basis of creativity, presentation and use of colours.
Vanshika Kapoor from Hartmann College secured the first position in the competition. The second prize was awarded to Arsh Prajapati from GRM School, while the third position went to Kashvi from Narayana e-Techno School.
The jury also presented consolation prizes to Srijana of Havi Town Institute and Amar Akram of SR International School for their impressive artworks.
The winners were felicitated with prizes and certificates by Dev Murti and Aditya Murti, who also encouraged the children and extended their best wishes for their future.

Speaking on the occasion, Dev Murti said that the objective of the Riddhima Centre is to promote art and encourage artists, adding that such competitions help children enhance their talent while building self-confidence.
Aditya Murti stated that several successful events, including dance, singing, band and theatre competitions, have already been organised under Bal Evam Yuva Mahotsav 2026. He further announced that the next and concluding event of the festival will feature a photography workshop and competition.
The colourful and imaginative paintings displayed during the programme drew appreciation from attendees and created a vibrant atmosphere throughout the event.
Among those present during the prize distribution ceremony were Asha Murti, Usha Gupta, Richa Murti, Prabhakar Gupta, Anuj Kumar, Shailesh Saxena, Ashish Kumar, Rita Sharma along with several distinguished citizens of the city.
