Ayodhya: A case of shooting of a platoon commander of PAC posted in the Shri Ram Mandir complex of Ayodhya has come to light. According to the information, a 53-year-old Commandant Ram Prasad was shot under suspicious circumstances. After this there was a commotion on the spot. The commander was immediately taken to the hospital in an injured condition, from where he was referred to Lucknow Trauma Center with life support system.
It is being told that when other security personnel present nearby reached the spot after hearing the sound of firing, Ram Prasad was shot in the chest and he was lying on the ground soaked in blood. This information was immediately given to higher officials and he was admitted to Divisional Hospital Darshan Nagar. After this, in view of the situation, he was referred to Trauma Center Lucknow. He is a resident of Amethi and his family lives in Lucknow.
Giving information, Ayodhya Range IG Praveen Kumar said that a platoon commander has been shot. The bullet fired accidentally passed through the chest. Due to this many internal parts of the body got damaged. An ambulance was immediately called and he was taken to Lucknow Trauma Center with life support system. At present the situation is critical and treatment is being done. Also, further investigation of the matter is being done.
PM Modi had inaugurated the Ram temple on January 24 this year. After this, one and a half to two lakh people are coming to Ayodhya every day from across the country. Devotees spend one to two days in Ayodhya. Regarding this, the security arrangements of the temple have been tightened. PAC has been deployed for the security of the temple, which is keeping vigil at every nook and corner.
