Gonda: ICIT Education Society, Gonda, organised mehndi and art competitions to mark the auspicious occasions of Navratri and Vijayadashami, providing students with a platform to showcase their creativity, artistic skills and imagination.
Students participated enthusiastically in both competitions. In the mehndi competition, participants displayed their artistic abilities through attractive and intricate designs, while the art competition featured colourful paintings and creative illustrations.
In the art competition, Divyanshi secured first place, followed by Anshika Yadav in second place, Srishti Srivastava in third and Jyoti Sharma in fourth. The winners were felicitated with medals and trophies by the institute’s director, Santosh Kumar Gupta.
In the mehndi competition, Sagufi Anjum won first place, Avantika Jaiswal secured second place and Shivani Chaurasia finished third. Deputy Director Usha Gupta presented medals and trophies to the winning students. Shivani Shukla served as the judge for the competition.
Faculty members and staff, including Shivam Singh, Maya Ram Yadav, Hrithik Awasthi, Arjun Yadav, Riya Nandani, Anchal Maurya, Satish Pandey and Ganesh Kumar, attended the programme and encouraged the participants. Their contributions helped ensure the successful conduct of the event.
Addressing the participants, Director Santosh Kumar Gupta and Deputy Director Usha Gupta said that organising creative competitions during auspicious occasions such as Navratri was a valuable initiative to nurture students’ talents and build their confidence.
They emphasised that extracurricular and creative activities play an important role in the overall development of students. They also stated that ICIT Education Society would continue to organise similar creative and educational programmes to encourage students to explore their abilities and develop new skills.
The event concluded on a celebratory note, reflecting the institution’s commitment to combining cultural celebrations with creativity and holistic education.
