Lucknow: The 11th edition of India Food Expo-2026, organised by the Indian Industries Association (IIA), will be held from September 18 to 20 at Regalia Greens, 1090 Chauraha, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow, with a focus on strengthening Uttar Pradesh’s food processing sector and creating new opportunities for MSME enterprises.
The expo aims to bring industry, trade, technology, investment and entrepreneurship under one platform. Organisers expect the event to generate potential business opportunities worth ₹750–1,000 crore for the MSME sector, while connecting entrepreneurs with new markets, technological solutions, investors and government support.
Entrepreneurs and prominent institutions from Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Delhi, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, West Bengal and Punjab are expected to participate. The event is projected to encourage inter-state trade, technical collaboration, investment and market expansion in food processing and allied industries.
Focus on Technology, Government Schemes and Market Access
The three-day expo will feature seminars, technical sessions and knowledge-sharing programmes covering government policies, subsidies, incentives, financial facilities, modern technology and market opportunities.
Entrepreneurs will gain insights into quality standards, packaging, branding, exports, value addition, modern production systems and business expansion. Discussions will also focus on franchise opportunities, emerging business models, local product branding, ODOP and ODOC initiatives, and government-supported industrial ventures.
Promoting Entrepreneurship Among Youth and Women
A key objective of India Food Expo-2026 is to introduce young people and women to entrepreneurship and self-employment opportunities. Visitors will be able to explore how modern technology, local resources, skills and government schemes can help establish and expand businesses.
The expo is also intended to encourage financial independence, enterprise creation and employment generation, enabling new entrepreneurs to contribute to livelihoods and regional economic growth.
IIA National President Dinesh Goyal called upon MSME entrepreneurs, youth and women from Uttar Pradesh and across the country to actively participate in the expo.
“India Food Expo is not merely an exhibition, but an important platform to understand new technologies, explore markets and learn about opportunities to establish businesses,” Goyal said.
He urged entrepreneurs to bring young members and women from their families to help them understand entrepreneurship, self-employment and government support. He said the IIA’s vision, “Grow Industries, Build a Developed India,” reflects its commitment to MSME development, employment generation and nation-building.
Deputy Chief Ministers to Attend
IIA National Treasurer Awadhesh Agarwal thanked the Uttar Pradesh government and partner institutions for their support in organising the expo.
He said the event had received cooperation from the Uttar Pradesh government, Invest UP, the MSME Department, UPSIDA, the Food Processing Department and other institutions.
According to Agarwal, Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya will attend the inaugural ceremony, while Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak is scheduled to attend the closing ceremony. Other ministers, senior government officials and industry representatives have also been invited.
State Bank of India is supporting the event as its banking partner. SIDBI, IDFC First Bank, Union Bank of India and Punjab National Bank are also participating in efforts to promote MSME development and provide financial support to entrepreneurs.
The expo is expected to serve as a platform for business networking, investment opportunities, technological collaboration and the growth of Uttar Pradesh’s food processing industry.
