Lucknow: Divisional Commissioner inspected the volleyball court, tennis court, Taekwondo Hall, boxing ring multipurpose hall under construction at KD Singh Babu Stadium as part of the Smart City Mission. During the inspection, she instructed the concerned officers to pay special attention to the quality and standard of the works under construction and also to ensure that the work is completed only after checking the quality of the equipment being installed.
Giving strict instructions to the concerned officers, she said that by increasing the number of manpower, work should be done 24 hours and it should be completed by the month of June.
After this, the Divisional Commissioner directed the concerned officers of the Public Works Department to ensure that after the completion of all the work under construction, the quality and standard of the works is checked. She said that the walkway and lighting work being built next to the stadium should be completed within the stipulated time. On this occasion, Municipal Commissioner Inderjit Singh, Additional Municipal Commissioner Pankaj Srivastava and related officials were present.
