Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya Inaugurates Kitchen and Distributes Prasad in Prayagraj

Prayagraj: Uttar Pradesh’s Deputy Chief Minister, Keshav Prasad Maurya, undertook a series of significant events in the city of Prayagraj, with a special focus on the ongoing Maha Kumbh and its cultural and spiritual significance. During his visit, he addressed various gatherings, participated in a conclave, and highlighted the importance of the Maha Kumbh, emphasizing its global appeal and significance. He stated, “The Maha Kumbh is not only a spiritual gathering but also a subject of curiosity for people worldwide. We are committed to serving the devotees with the spirit of ‘Atithi Devo Bhava’. This rare alignment of the Maha Kumbh, which comes only once in 144 years, will be more grand and divine than any of the previous Kumbh Mela events.”

Maurya further expressed that the upcoming Maha Kumbh would blend faith with modernity, ensuring that every devotee would leave the event with a joyful experience. He described the Maha Kumbh as a grand yajna of cultural unity, symbolizing the rich diversity and unity of India.

As part of his visit, Deputy CM Maurya inaugurated a community kitchen established by the Akshaya Patra Foundation on Nagvasuki Marg in Prayagraj. He participated in the distribution of food prasadam to the attendees, further reinforcing his commitment to serving the public. This kitchen is a vital initiative to ensure that devotees and pilgrims attending the Maha Kumbh have access to nutritious meals during their visit.

Additionally, Maurya visited the Chandra Shekhar Azad Park Museum, where he inaugurated the “Shreenath Ji” artwork exhibition, showcasing paintings depicting historical events. He praised the exhibition and acknowledged its importance in preserving and promoting the cultural heritage of the region.

Maurya also addressed a gathering at the Hotel Rama Continental, where he highlighted the religious and cultural significance of the Maha Kumbh, reaffirming its position as a vital event in the state’s spiritual and cultural calendar.
