Bareilly Jumps to Sixth Position in Uttar Pradesh Public Grievance Redressal Rankings

Bareilly: Bareilly has recorded a significant improvement in Uttar Pradesh’s public grievance redressal rankings, securing the sixth position at the state level for the month of April under the leadership of District Magistrate Avinash Singh.

The achievement marks a notable rise from the district’s tenth position in March, reflecting the administration’s sustained efforts toward timely, transparent, and effective resolution of public complaints.

Officials said the improved ranking is the result of continuous monitoring, quality grievance handling, and focused administrative coordination aimed at strengthening public service delivery and citizen satisfaction.

The district also performed exceptionally well at the tehsil level, with several subdivisions achieving top rankings in the state for efficient public hearing mechanisms and prompt disposal of complaints.

According to the administration, Baheri, Sadar, Faridpur, and Meerganj tehsils secured first place in the state based on their performance in public grievance hearings and speedy complaint resolution.

District Magistrate Avinash Singh said that prompt resolution of public issues remains the administration’s top priority. He directed officials to ensure quality, transparency, and accountability while addressing complaints and public concerns.

He further stated that the achievement reflects continuous improvement in administrative functioning and strengthens public confidence in the district administration’s grievance redressal system.

The administration expressed confidence that ongoing reforms and responsive governance mechanisms would further improve service delivery and enhance citizen trust in the coming months.
