Bareilly: District Magistrate Avinash Singh chaired a review meeting with nodal and assistant nodal officers to assess preparations for the upcoming Bareilly-Moradabad Teachers’ Constituency Election 2026 at the Collectorate auditorium.
During the meeting, officials informed the DM that 25 polling booths had been designated in Bareilly district. Singh directed the concerned officers to inspect all polling booths and address any shortcomings well in advance to ensure smooth conduct of the election.
He stressed the need to thoroughly examine access routes for voters, polling premises and other essential arrangements so that voters do not face inconvenience during the electoral process.
Officials also informed the meeting that election-related training would be conducted on October 12, 2026, at Rabindranath Tagore Inter College, from 10 am to 1 pm. The DM instructed the concerned officials to complete all arrangements on time and ensure that nodal and assistant nodal officers discharge their assigned responsibilities effectively.
Chief Development Officer Devyani, Additional District Magistrate (Administration) Purnima Singh, ADM (Finance and Revenue) Santosh Kumar Singh, ADM (Judicial) Divya Ojha, ADM (City) Avinash Tripathi, all sub-divisional magistrates and other concerned officials attended the meeting.
