Mumbai: Dr. Deepti Bhatnagar is always multitasking. Born and brought up in the beautiful Rishikesh, she completed her graduation in mass communication and started the first live show of *Uttarakhand doordarshan in 2004*. After being the face of Uttarakhand Doordarshan for around 4 years she also worked in Sadhna TV.
Sharing the massive shift of her career she says,” I took a brief break from my career because of my first daughter Aurra Bhatnagar who is an actor. I was busy being a mother and I kind of drifted away from what I have been doing in my career as being a mother is a full time job. My husband is from the wellness background and I also pursued my medicine degree in naturopathy and yoga. After completing my degree I had an opportunity to work in an amazing Naturopathy and Ayurvedic hospital named kayakalp in Palampur Himachal Pradesh.”
Gradually Deepti started taking interest in acupuncture and become an acupuncturist.

Deepti’s elder daughter Aurra is a known name in the industry. She is known for her acting skills at a young age. As a mother she took the decision of shifting from Rishikesh to Mumbai. ”After long discussions with my husband and family I took a break from my career and shifted to Mumbai to shape the career of my daughter. Now after 6 years as my daughter Aurra is a known actress.
I have started focusing to myself and my individual career.”
Sharing about her participation in a beauty pageant she says,” Recently I have participated in a beauty pageant named Mrs India SR queen which was being held in Sri Lanka. Initially I was reluctant but my husband Vivek and Aurra literally pushed me to participate and I took the plung and signed up as a participant in this pageant. The beauty of Sri Lanka amazed me and the entire experience was very professional.
We had happening four days in Colombo where we went through lots of training, numerous number of photoshoots, ramp walks and interviews after many rounds few finalist who have been selected for the Grand Finale which was slated to happen in Mumbai. We flew from Colombo and on 17th of this month we had the finale in which I was among the top 10 contestants.
The Jury and judges of the show were led by famous Bollywood Actor Govinda and lots of other senior jury members. The best part was I got the title of beautiful eyes which was an amazing achievement.”
Deepti has done shows like Nazar, Choti Sarrdaarni, Shubharambh, Parineeti and now looking for more opportunities as an actor.
