Lucknow: Mahendra Singh, State President of the Teachers’ Cell of the Aam Aadmi Party, Uttar Pradesh, paid a courtesy visit to the newly appointed District Inspector of Schools (DIOS), Lucknow, to extend his congratulations and best wishes on assuming office.
During the meeting, several important issues concerning teachers and non-teaching staff were discussed in a constructive and positive atmosphere. Key matters included the early transfer of deductions made under the National Pension System (NPS) into General Provident Fund (GPF) accounts, the smooth issuance of cashless health cards for teachers, and the resolution of other pending concerns affecting the education community.
Mahendra Singh emphasized that the timely resolution of teachers’ grievances is essential for strengthening the education system. He noted that meaningful dialogue and coordination between educators and the administration are crucial for improving the quality of education and ensuring efficient institutional functioning.
The District Inspector of Schools listened attentively to the concerns raised and assured the delegation that appropriate steps would be taken to address the issues in a positive and time-bound manner.

Several teachers, including Shailendra Rathore, Ram Shankar, Vinod Pal, and Abhishek, were also present during the meeting. They highlighted various challenges faced by teachers and expressed hope for their early resolution.
The Teachers’ Cell extended its best wishes to the newly appointed DIOS for a successful tenure and reiterated its commitment to maintaining constructive cooperation with the education administration in the interest of teachers, students, and the overall development of the education sector.
