Lucknow: Congress workers from across Uttar Pradesh congratulated newly appointed state president Aradhana Mishra Mona on her new responsibility, expressing their commitment to prepare for the 2027 Assembly elections under her leadership.
Throughout the day, party workers from various districts visited her and presented bouquets and traditional angavastrams. They pledged to work together to strengthen the organisation, intensify grassroots outreach and raise public issues across the state ahead of the elections.
The visitors came from western, central and eastern Uttar Pradesh, including Saharanpur, Bijnor, Baghpat, Amroha, Agra, Mainpuri, Auraiya, Kanpur, Kanpur Dehat, Hardoi, Ballia, Deoria, Gorakhpur, Kushinagar, Rae Bareli, Pratapgarh, Prayagraj, Lucknow, Kaushambi, Sitapur and Lakhimpur Kheri.
The party workers congratulated Mishra Mona on assuming the new role and expressed confidence in working collectively under her leadership. They also shared sweets to celebrate her appointment.
The gathering reflected enthusiasm among party cadres, with workers emphasising unity, organisational strengthening and active participation in public campaigns as the Congress prepares for the 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections.
