Lucknow: On the auspicious occasion of the 80th Independence Day, Justice Rajan Roy, Senior Judge, High Court, Lucknow Bench, hoisted the national flag at the High Court premises with great pride and reverence. This was followed by the singing of the national song ‘Vande Mataram’ and the national anthem, along with a captivating performance by the PAC Band. The ceremony was conducted with complete integrity and patriotic fervour, honouring the values enshrined in the Indian Constitution.
Following the flag hoisting, the Senior Judge, along with other Hon’ble Judges and their spouses, as well as retired Hon’ble Judges, paid floral tribute to the statue of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi.
The occasion was attended by the Senior Registrar, officers and staff of the Hon’ble Court, Additional Advocates General of the State of Uttar Pradesh, Chief Standing Counsels, Government Advocates, and the President, General Secretary and Executive Committee members of the Oudh Bar Association.
