Gonda: Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police, Devipatan Range, Gonda, Ashok Kumar hoisted the national flag at the Range Police Office on the occasion of the 80th Independence Day.
Following the flag-hoisting ceremony, DIG Ashok Kumar administered an oath to the officers and personnel present, urging them to uphold the unity and integrity of the nation and discharge their official responsibilities with sincerity and dedication.
On the occasion, the DIG extended Independence Day greetings to all officers and employees and paid respectful tribute to the immortal freedom fighters and brave martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the country.
Addressing the personnel, Kumar emphasised the importance of performing their duties with dedication, honesty, discipline and sensitivity. He urged all officers and employees to remain committed to their responsibilities and maintain the highest standards of professional conduct while serving the public.
Confidential Assistant Rakesh Kumar Maurya, Peshkar Jaiprakash Singh, PRO Amit Kanaujia, Head Clerk Ashok and other officers and employees of the Devipatan Range Office were present during the ceremony.
